Our Story
Originally Hair by Devon Elise, The Alchemist's Beauty Lounge was born from a desire to create an environment for guests to feel relaxed, taken care of and to have a consistently amazing experience when in the salon, along with providing a creative, safe and structured home for stylists to grow their knowledge and become the best stylists they can be. When you come to The Alchemist, you will feel like you are coming home with the warm and inviting decor and friendly staff. The Alchemist's Beauty Lounge strives to always provide the best products for the health of your hair. We invite you into our salon home to experience what it is to have "Seemingly Magical" hair.

Devon Stone
Owner, Level 5 Stylist, Master Educator for The Alchemist
Educator for Hairdreams, Extension Specialist
Devon has always had a need for creativity and it shows in her craft. After achieving her cosmetology license in 2004, she moved to Folsom, California where she spent 10 years. There, Devon worked at her dream salon, learning and growing every day from the amazing stylists that worked there. Devon also had great opportunities in and out of the salon for advanced knowledge that she has brought back with her to Washington to share. Devon is passionate about creating a comfortable, relaxing and consistent experience for her guests. Having worked in a salon with an advanced education system and growth opportunities, Devon has an eagerness to bring that same opportunity for advanced knowledge and growth to the newer stylists coming into this amazing industry. Devon specializes in advanced highlight techniques, styling, bridal styles and is also a thinning hair specialist. ​

Kierra Rudd
Associate Stylist, Master Esthetician
Kierra received her Master Esthetician Certification from the Paul Mitchell Academy in Utah in 2017. Her interest in the beauty industry began in high school through the influence of her cousin, and she pursued it further by graduating from Centralia Beauty College after moving to Washington in 2022 to be near her boyfriends family. Kierra joined our advanced knowledge associates program in 2023 and excelled in all her lessons before taking a break with plans to move back to Utah. However, she has since returned to our team and is currently accepting Request and Referral guests on her opportunity day. Kierra has a huge heart which shows in her love for all of her kitties and has a wealth of knowledge on both the best skin and hair products for her guests! She also loves to spend her free time reading and spending time with her kitties and her boyfriend.
